Appalachian Artisan Center of Kentucky, Inc.

The Appalachian Artisan Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating an arts based economic sector in eastern Kentucky by drawing on our regions’ rich artistic cultural heritage. The AAC Shop sells the work of over 200 local artists, including jewelry, pottery, woven rugs, books, paintings, photographs, furniture, toys, quilts, baskets and much more. The AAC Café serves a weekly special in addition to specialty sandwiches, soups, salads, coffee, teas and pastries. The AAC’s free Gallery exhibit features a different artist every two months to draw special attention to the region's best talents. Visit the AAC Studios to see artists creating their work. Meet them, ask questions and even take home a keepsake. Studio tours are self-guided and free to the public. Studio hours may vary with artist’s schedules.

AAC hours are 10-6 Monday thru Friday and 10-4 on Saturday.
