“MUSIC IN THE PARK” summer series
“Music in the Park” is a 3-month summer music series that is held in the Courthouse Square in downtown Campton. The music is held every Thursday evening June-August and begins at 7:00. The concert series is free of charge and features great traditional Appalachian music, gospel music, country music, and 50’s music. Food is available for purchase. The UK Cooperative Extension Service is open with crafts classes during the concert. The Swift Creek Gallery features wonderful handmade Appalachian crafts and is open during the concert series. It is a wonderful summer evening event that features great music, a venue where children (and adults) can dance in the street, delicious local foods, and an opportunity to learn a new craft or just purchase one!
