Muir Valley is located in the heart of the Red River Gorge area. It is comprised of 400 acres. It is surrounded by majestic hard Corbin Sandstone cliffs and features some of the finest rock climbing in the world. Although it is privately owned, Muir Valley can be freely enjoyed by hikers, climbers, and those who are just looking for some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. Climbers from around the world can be found scaling the rocks on any given day. Each season brings a new beauty to the Valley. Muir Valley is indeed one of the most beautiful treasures that can be found in Eastern Kentucky.
