Daniel Boone Festival

The Daniel Boone Festival is held the first FULL week in October each year.  The Cherokee Indians of North Carolina have been joining us since 1948 for the signing of the Cane Treaty during the Daniel Boone Festival Feast on Friday.  This week-long festival features a parade, an Arts & Crafts Village, a Primitive Camp, a Long Rifle Shootout, a Pioneer Village around the Court Square featuring the favorites of Appalachian food fare, concerts, street entertainment and more.  For a schedule of events, please visit www.danielboonefestival.com.
