TOUR Southern and Eastern Kentucky (TOUR SEKY) is excited to announce Judy Barton, President/CEO of the Bell County Tourism Commission will be joining its Board of Directors. Barton was named to the Board during TOUR SEKY’s January Board Meeting. Barton has been involved in the tourism industry for more than three decades. In addition to her role as President/CEO of the Bell County Tourism Commission, she serves as Chairperson of the Eastern Highlands South Tourism Region for the state and is a member of the Advisory Board for the Kentucky Official Visitor Guide. Barton is also a member of the 2012 Kentucky Travel South Advisory Board, The Kentucky Travel Industry Association (KTIA) and Kentucky Association of Convention and Visitors Bureaus (KACVB). She was also voted “2011 Tourism Woman of the Year” during the inaugural TOUR SEKY “BLOOM Awards” in May 2011. Judy served as a TOUR SEKY Advisory Board member for several years and is a former Discover Downtown Middleborough board member. “Judy has dedicated her career to promoting Bell County and Southern and Eastern Kentucky,” said Jeff Crowe, TOUR SEKY President/CEO. “Her industry experience will be an important asset for us.”
